Established in 2014, HM Agricultural Ltd is a family-run Scottish business specialising in premium heavy haulage and specialist transport. Operating from our base in Scotland across the wider UK, we provide professional logistics for abnormal loads, plant machinery, and industrial equipment.
Founder Michael Holmes brings a unique background to the business, combining years of service in the British Army with practical experience in haulage, steel, and crane sectors. This military background informs our company culture; we operate with a level of discipline that translates to meticulous route preparation, clear communication, and high professional standards. While we work closely with FVF Ltd for crane and steel requirements, HM Agricultural Ltd remains a distinct specialist transport entity focused on moving your heavy assets safely.
Our expertise extends to the transport of defence-related equipment. We welcome enquiries for move-only defence logistics, provided all site access and security requirements can be met. Please note we do not hold specific MOD security clearances or veteran-related certifications, but we apply the same professional rigor to these tasks as we do to all our heavy haulage operations.
Despite our growth into a premium haulage provider, we remain rooted in the Scottish rural community. We continue to manage a traditional livestock enterprise alongside our transport division.
